Southington's New Town Website Goes Online This Week

SOUTHINGTON, CT — With folks already celebrating the new year, the Town of Southington will soon celebrate a new website.

The town has announcedthat its new website will go online on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

"After many months of planning, collaboration, and development, we are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our newly redesigned town website," wrote town officials in an announcement.

"This updated website reflects our ongoing commitment to improving communication, accessibility, and the overall online experience for our residents, businesses, and visitors."

The new website is scheduled to go live that afternoon, and it will be available under the new website URL, southingtonct.gov.

"It will feature an updated design, improved navigation, and enhanced functionality to make it easier to find information, access services, and stay informed about town news and updates," wrote the town.

Around the time of launch, the current website (www.southington.org) will display a message notifying visitors of the transition, and it will provide a direct link to the new website.

"This is intended to ensure a seamless transition, with minimal disruption, while allowing users to easily locate and begin using the new platform," wrote the town.

"We appreciate the community’s patience and support throughout this process and look forward to continuing to serve you through a modernized and user-friendly online presence."
