Teens Invited To Meet Critters At Southington Library Saturday
The library's teen program is hosting a wildlife rehabilitator who will educate guests about a wide variety of reptiles and birds of prey.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The local library is hosting a unique program on Saturday for teens that might just pique their interest in a career working with animals.
The Souhington Public Library, Saturday, Sept. 6, is hosting a special presentation by Christine's Critters Inc., a nonprofit animal rehabilitation organization out of Weston.

Open to teens ages 12-18, this one-hour presentation about reptiles and birds of prey will educate and entertain, according to a library announcement.
"Receive an up-close viewing of the animals, learn each animal’s unique rescue story, and gain a meaningful perspective on the challenges wildlife face and how people can help protect them," wrote the library.
