Wine, Women & Watches will be held for the sixth year Thursday, Sept. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the museum at 100 Maple St. It will include wines selected by Maple End Package Store, a silent auction, prize drawings, gallery games and catered hot and cold hors d’oeuvres prepared by Main Street Pint & Plate.
"People had fun the last two years with the virtual events, but we've heard from a lot of people that they are excited to be coming back in person," said Patti Philippon, executive director at the museum. "It's a lot of fun having a night out at the museum and supporting a good cause, so come down and raise a glass."

Wine Women & Watches, Philippon said, is the American Clock & Watch Museum's major fundraiser of the year. Proceeds will support the museum's programs and exhibits throughout the year. It has also served as an opportunity to introduce the museum to the community.
"People who come often become members and end up returning for our other programs throughout the year," she said.
Philippon said in past years gallery games at Wine Women & Watches included scavenger hunts with chocolates as prizes. This year, there will be a new game to try.
"We're going to mix it up this year," she said. "It will be a different sort of game involving a wine drinking mouse."
There will be both silent auctions and teacup auctions at the event, for a wide assortment of items.
"We will have baskets of chocolates, 'made in Connecticut' baskets, a $200 ShopRite gift card with Italian goodies, and stained glass art," said Philippon. "There will be something for everyone."
Philippon said the event committee "can't wait to get the party started again."
