Grand Re-Opening of Paulie's Professional Barber Shop in South Windsor
Barber shop is a cut above the rest, according to owner Paul LaChance.
Paul LaChance, owner of Paulie’s Professional Barber Shop, can be forgiven if he had a difficult time cutting the ribbon during a Chamber of Commerce grand re-opening ceremony last Thursday.
The oversized scissors weren’t his.
By all accounts, when left with their own equipment, the four barbers at the shop do a terrific job providing an old-time barber experience, including hot steaming towels, shaves, haircuts and massages.

“Guys fall asleep in the chair,” LaChance said.
LaChance, for his part, was thrilled with the event, which drew Mayor Tom Delnicki, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shari Fiveash, and LaChance’s friends and family.
