Local Marty Maynard Inducted To Risk Manager Honor Roll
Risk managers prevent losses and incidents, and consequently lawsuits, making the community safer and controlling costs for taxpayers.

From TPRS: Trident Public Risk Solutions (TPRS), member of Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd., is pleased to announce Marty Maynard, risk manager for the Town of Windsor and the Windsor School District, has been selected as one of the Risk Manager Honor Roll inductees for 2016. The TPRS Risk Manager Honor Roll is a distinction that recognizes dedicated individuals who work to control the numerous everyday risks that could lead to an injury or loss.
"Mr. Maynard actively addresses the exposures of the Town of Windsor in his role as the risk manager with innovative approaches that engage and involve both the employees and leadership in the process," said Tim McCarty, TPRS risk control manager. "His use of a driving simulator is a prime example of an innovative way he supports and encourages safe driving behaviors, lowers costs and reduces losses."

Maynard leads the town's safety program and writes safety policies and procedures. Maynard is also responsible for all worker compensation, auto, liability and property claims for the town and the school district, as well as the volunteer fire department and the volunteer ambulance association.

Previously, Maynard has held a number of positions in the insurance field and has a Master of Science in Industrial Safety and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from the University of Central Missouri.
He currently serves as the chair of the town's Safety Committee and is a member of the Wellness Committee and Advisory Committee for the Technology Transfer Center. Maynard recently graduated from the Connecticut Transportation Leadership Program.

"It is an honor to be recognized by TPRS for my efforts to increase the safety of the Town of Windsor and it's citizens," said Maynard. "I could not have developed such a successful safety program without the continued support of the town leadership and resources like USI Insurance Services and TPRS."
