Loris Grabbing an Umbrella, South Windsor Public Library Sked, Sandy Hook Benefit Dinner

Here are five things going on in the area today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday, party and party and party and YEAH! March 1, 2013; there are 304 days left in the year.

It’s late and I’m tired. So the young (and very thin!) Community Editor Jayme Kunze was kind enough to share this video of a loris grabbing an umbrella. Am I the only one who thinks it looks like a mogwai? Don’t get him wet, feed him after midnight, etc?

Here’s your Daily 5:

1. Bouncing Babies at the South Windsor Public Library at 9:30 a.m.

2. BINGO at 5 p.m.

3. South Windsor Youth and Family Services is hosting a benefit dinner for the Sandy Hook School Memorial Scholarship Fund on Friday, March 1 from 6-8pm at the Charles Enes Community Center.

4. The South Windsor High girls basketball team takes on Southington in the second round of the state Class LL tournament at 7 p.m. in South Windsor. GO BOBCATS!

5. Yin Yoga at 9 p.m.
