My Secret Weapon Part II, Zumba Fitness in South Windsor, A Lincoln Portrait
Here are five things going on in the area today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013; there are 313 days left in the year.
It’s been a while, so I’m going back to my secret weapon, 14-year-old Community Editor Elyssa Millspaugh (Ed. Correction: she’s 24), who is going to help me again communicate with the kids.
Elyssa, as you know, is in high school (Ed. Correction: she’s a UConn graduate who has worked at Patch for a year and is a talented journalist.)
Anyhoo, she is my translator when I go into the high schools to talk to the kids.
So the following sentence...
"Like OMG Ted, you're gonna be a dad? Super cute! That baby outfit you picked out is to die! So fab!"
Is translated thusly by Elyssa...
“Theodore, my good man, I understand that you and your wife are expecting. That’s wonderful news! Your choice in how to clothe the infant is a good one. Very nice.”
Seriously, without Elyssa, I’d be lost. Thanks Elyssa.
Totes Mcgoats! ZOMG!
