[Photos] South Windsor Residents Are All Wet at Penguin Plunge
Event at Ellington's Crystal Lake Town Beach raised funds for Special Olympics Connecticut
Anyone who has wished that I would just go jump in a lake got their wish Saturday, as I along with dozens of others took part in the sixth annual Penguin Plunge at Ellington's Crystal Lake Town Beach.
The event, which was organized by the South Windsor Police Department, raised around $30,000 for Special Olympics Connecticut.
Members of the South Windsor police department, a certain Patch editor, and Mayor Tom Delnicki were among those who took part in the event.
