South Windsor Falls to Coginchaug All-Stars 12-3
Williams, Donahue homer in loss. The teams will play again on Wednesday for the Section 2 Little League championship.
T.J. Vallone went 4-for-5, including two home runs to power Coginchaug Little League's All-Star team past South Windsor Tuesday night 12-3.
The two teams will meet again Wednesday at the Harwinton Sports Complex for the winner-take-all Section 2 championship game.
South Windsor's Robert Williams (3rd inning) and Zach Donahue (5th inning) both hit home runs off Coginchaug ace John John Jose, but Ryan Genest homered to lead-off the sixth inning to start a seven run rally for Coginchaug.

"Losing's never easy," said South Windsor manager Jason Donahue. "The thought coming in was we're in the drivers seat, we'd have to lose twice. We kind of gambled a little bit on our pitching staff with our three and four. We knew John John was going to be tough."
"We're coming in tomorrow with our best guy," Donahue said.
