South Windsor PD Announces Graduation of Three New Officers
All three officers begin their field training program on December 29th, police said.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Three South Windsor police officers have graduated from the Connecticut Police Academy, the department announced.
Officers Delaney Rodriguez-Shaw, Brandon Bartell, and Michael Weidlich recently completed the academy and are now certified police officers.

Police said the three will return to the South Windsor Police Department for additional in-house training. They will then begin the department’s 16-week Field Training and Evaluation Program on December 29th.
The department said Rodriguez-Shaw is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and was a member of the school’s women’s lacrosse team. Bartell previously worked for AMR Hartford as an operations manager and is a certified paramedic and EMS-I. Weidlich recently graduated from Central Connecticut State University and previously worked as a student assistant with the CCSU Police Department.
