South Windsor Fire Department Brushing Up on Skills

Thinks it's easy to deal with a horse while in full turn out gear? 

Well, you can ask the members of the South Windsor Fire Department about that, and several other areas they are brushing up on over the past several weeks. 

According to the South Windsor Fire Department's Facebook page: 

The SWFD performs weekly training. For the next few weeks, the companies will focus on different topics: Refresh on Rescue techniques from schools buses just in time for the return of school; foam operations at a specific 'approved' location and Equestrian type training thanks to local resident Liesl Dalpe from Main Street instructing members on how to deal with horses while in full turn out gear. Great job by all!
