South Windsor Photo of the Week: The Town's Bravest

Every week, the South Windsor Patch will feature a photo from around town.

This installment is from the South Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, which extricated a passenger from a vehicle in an accident during the March 8 snowstorm.

South Windsor had over a foot of snow, which caused myriad problems for the morning commute.

South Windsor Chief of Police Matthew Reed said that emergency responders were called to five accidents within the span of one hour at one point.
