In April, the Commission will determine edits to the Plan based upon the input collected at the March 19 meeting. The updated Plan will then be forwarded to the Town Council for its consideration. The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing for Plan adoption (tentatively scheduled for early July).
The Commission is also preparing a separate Implementation Guide which will outline how the Plan’s goals and strategies could be carried out over the next 10 years.
The Plan is being updated with the assistance of Planimetrics, an Avon-based land use planning and consulting firm that assists towns with preparation of Plans of Conservation and Development.
