Town: Avery Street Project informational Meeting Is June 27
South Windsor seeks to reconstruct Avery Street from Kelly Road to just north of Woodland Drive — including new drainage, gravel base, pavement, curbs and a sidewalk.
The following is a press release submitted by the Town of South Windsor.
The Town has proposed to reconstruct Avery Street from Kelly Road to just north of Woodland Drive including new drainage, gravel base, pavement, curbs and a sidewalk.
Conceptual plans with proposed improvements for this section of Avery Street have been prepared which show alternative layouts for the road including pedestrian and bicycle access and traffic calming elements.
A public informational meeting has been scheduled on Thursday, June 27, 2013 to discuss the project objectives and alternative layouts.
The public is invited to attend this meeting to hear about this project, ask questions and provide input.
The meeting will take place at the South Windsor Public Library in the Friends Room at 7:00 p.m. The room is located directly to your left as you enter the side entrance to the library near the Town Hall.
