Two South Windsor Scouts Earn Rank of Eagle

The following is a prepared release:

Jonathan Ockert and Ethan Gasta of Boy Scout Troop 880 in South Windsor were awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on March 3 in a ceremony at Wapping Community Church.

Jonathan's Eagle project consisted of improvements to the dugouts, benches and fields of the South Windsor Little League Major B baseball field. Jonathan is the son of Paul and Pamela Ockert and he is a junior at East Catholic High School.

Ethan's Eagle project was a revitalization of the South Windsor Land Conservation Trust Park and involved repairing signs, benches and building a bridge. Ethan is the son of Steven and Linda Gasta and he is a junior at South Windsor High School.
