STAFFORD, CT — A CT Lottery ticket bought at a supermarket convenience store in Stafford turned into a six-figure winner in a popular draw game.

On Monday, an unnamed winner from Stafford cashed in a ticket worth $100,000 from the Cash5 game. It was purchased at the Big Y Express in Stafford.

Cash5 cost $1 per wager. Players can add a kicker option for an additional 50 cents per wager to increase the chances of winning win more often and at more prize levels. Players pick five numbers from 1 to 35 or they can opt for a lottery terminal to randomly pick numbers.
