Free Real Christmas Tree Disposal Offered In Stafford

STAFFORD, CT — Stafford residents can dispose their real Christmas trees free of charge at the transfer station.

Trees can be left near the brush pile, officials said. Residents are welcome to take the trees for their animals, if desired, officials said.

The transfer station is located at 80 Upper Road and is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
