WILLINGTON, CT — State police cited slushy conditions after a pickup truck crashes into a yard in Willington.

The crash took place on a snowy New Year's Day.

At 10:47 a.m., a 17-year-old Stafford boy was driving a 2014 Toyota Tundra west on Schofield Road when he began skidding on a turn, according to a crash report. The Toyota shot across the eastbound lane, onto the left shoulder and hit a tree and utility pole, according to a crash report.

The Toyota then rolled over and landed in a residential yard, according to a crash report.

No injuries were reported.
