West Stafford Fire Officials After Crash: Stop For Flashing Lights
A sport utility vehicle was demolished in a crash with a truck in Stafford.

STAFFORD, CT — West Stafford Fire Department is appealing to the public to heed traffic signals after a crash late Wednesday night.
"PSA ... When approaching an intersection with a flashing red signal and crossing traffic has a flashing yellow, please stop and do not proceed until safe to do so," fire officials said.
Fire officials said a witness to the Wednesday night crash said that a sport utility vehicle was heading east on Route 319 and made no attempt to stop at the Route 32 intersection.

It was the struck by a tractor-trailer that was heading north on Route 32, fire officials said.
No serious injuries were reported.
