STAFFORD, CT — The Stafford Community and Senior Center will have a temporary location for the duration of the summer and into the fall.

Large-scale drainage improvements and paving work is prompting the closure of the facility from Aug. 21 until the work is done, estimated to be in early October, officials said.

On Aug. 25, the community and senior center, along with the Stafford Social Services Department, will be temporarily moving their operations to the Staffordville School building at 21 Lyons Road, officials said.
