Condolences are extended to the families and friends of those who have recently died.
SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent death notices from Suffield.
Ronald Billick, 62, entered into eternal rest on June 2, 2025 at his residence in Suffield. He grew up in Levittown, Pa. and was a 1980 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. He moved to Agawam in 1990 to raise his beloved family before moving to Suffield. Ron worked as a lineman for Frontier Communications for 28 years, where he was a member of the CWA Union Local 1298. He loved entertaining those he considered family, going to Disney World with his daughter, and summers in Tampa, Fla. and Ocean City, N.J.
Jeremiah “Miah” Hansen, 44, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 29 after a sudden accident. He had an infectious smile and a way with words that often made those around him laugh or at times gasp. He always wanted those around him to feel at ease and enjoy the moments together. He attended Suffield High School, was mechanically inclined and mastered operation of any piece of heavy construction equipment he used for multiple employers. Miah was also a talented basketball player, modeling himself after his idol Michael Jordan, who shared the same Feb. 17 birthday. He was an avid off-road enthusiast, loved boating on Lake Congamond, working on he and his son’s mud truck and cheering his son and brother on at ATV/quad races.
