Campus Accomplishments By College Students From Suffield

SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Clark University, Worcester MA

• Two students from Suffield were named to the fall 2024 Dean's List. Liv G. Chandler was named to first honors, and Lily A. Vincent was named to second honors. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors, or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Elms College, Chicopee MA

• Olivia Dufresne-Achatz, Nicholas Kreuzer and Ayisha Bennett, all of Suffield, were named to the College of Our Lady of the Elms dean's list for the fall 2024 semester.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Ava Riddell, a member of the Suffield High School Class of 2024, has been named to the Dean's List at Emmanuel College for the fall 2024 semester.

Goodwin University, East Hartford CT

• Suffield residents Kayla Desousa and Katherine Messenger achieved Dean's List status for the fall 2024 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.

Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ

• Veronica Webster of West Suffield has qualified for the fall 2024 Dean's List. After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than "C", qualify for the Dean's List.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Ten students from Suffield earned placement on the President's List or Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. Making both lists were Daniel Craig, Tyler Hlawek, Summer Potvin and Jordyn Woodbury. Dean's List honors went to Jenna Devin, Carolyn Ducharme, Sierra Hill, Sara Kudas, Sienna Potvin and Sam Winans. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.75 and receive grades of C or better. Requirements for the Dean's List is a grade point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C.

University of Tampa, Tampa FL

• Rowan Shanahan, of West Suffield, earned dean's list honors at the University of Tampa for the fall 2024 semester. Shanahan is a junior majoring in allied health. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.
