On Campus: Milestones Attained By College Students From Suffield

SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Suffield residents Nabeeha Fatima, a senior who majors in psychology, and William Warkentin, a junior who majors in psychology, made the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Ava Aube of West Suffield excelled during the fall 2024 semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List. Ava's major is civil engineering.

Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH

• Janet Vargas, Salvatore Scuderi, Timothy Gurney and Olivia Lizotte, all of Suffield, were named to the fall 2024 President's List. The fall terms run from September to December.
  Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
