CINDY MANGINI WINS DEMOCRATIC ENDORSEMENT FOR 7th SENATE DISTRICT
Will Challenge Career Politician John Kissel

Enfield, CT, (May 23, 2024) - On May 14, Cindy Mangini won the endorsement of delegates at the convention for the 7th State Senate district by a 2-1 margin.
According to Mangini, “Kissel’s failure to secure funding from the state has led to drastic budget cuts all over the 7th district. The proposed budget for the town of Enfield includes draconian cuts to the town and Board of Education budgets. As a city council member, I can tell you that it has never been clearer that our district needs effective leadership at the state level. John Kissel is no Joe Courtney. He is unable to deliver”.
Since graduating from Enfield High School, Mangini has consistently served her community. She currently serves on Enfield's Town Council. A longtime local Realtor, she has developed expertise and experience helping Veterans find homes. She graduated from UConn and holds a law degree from Western New England School of Law. Through her leadership roles in the National League of Cities, Mangini worked to help municipalities throughout Connecticut improve their transportation systems, education, public safety, and health care.
