Get to Know Your State Roads In North-Central Connecticut - Route 190

NORTH-CENTRAL CT — In this periodic series on Patch sites in north-central Connecticut, we provide facts and figures about some of the state roads that wind through the region. Today we look at perhaps the busiest, most heavily-traveled road in the area, which traverses five towns and runs parallel to the Massachusetts border - Route 190.
Route 190 actually begins at the junction of Route 75 in Suffield, and is the main roadway heading east through Enfield, Somers and Stafford before ending just over 28 miles later in Union.
