More College Milestones Achieved By Students From Suffield

Albion College, Albion MI

• Sophia Davenport was named to Albion College's Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester.
  Albion College's Dean's List recognizes students who achieve a 3.5 or better GPA while taking four graded courses. Davenport is majoring in English - professional writing, is a resident of Suffield and is a graduate of Suffield High School.

College of Charleston, Charleston SC

• Morgan Peterson of Suffield was named to the College of Charleston spring 2024 President's List. Peterson is majoring in biology. To qualify for the President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Katherine Burgan of Suffield has received the degree of Bachelor of Science from the University of Hartford's College of Arts and Sciences. She is one of 964 students who received graduate and undergraduate degrees this spring as part of the class of 2024.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• A total of 2,226 undergraduate students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) achieved the criteria required for the university's spring 2024 Dean's List. Honorees from Suffield were Peter Danise, David Fitzgerald, Timothy Galica, Mara Hyder and Jack Shanks. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
