Bates College, Lewiston ME

  • Izzy Lussier of West Suffield was named to the dean's list at Bates College for the fall/winter semester ending in December 2023. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.92 or higher. Lussier is majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry at Bates.

  • Endicott College, the first college in the U.S. to require internships of its students, is pleased to announce its fall 2023 Dean's List students, including Suffield residents Marissa Dery, Lucie Kieffer, Carly Matthews, Jillian Roy and Katherine Uzdarwin. In order to qualify for the Dean's List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no letter grade below "C," have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

  • On February 24, 70 students from institutions across Massachusetts and Rhode Island gathered at Stonehill College for the Mass FinTech Hub Bootcamp, a pioneering event aimed at delving into the evolving landscape of financial technology. Among them, seven bright minds from Western New England University's College of Business stood out for their engagement and enthusiasm. The participating students from WNE, representing various disciplines within the College of Business, included Andersen Burrows, a finance major from Suffield.
