Boy, 5, Critically Injured In Kayak Accident On CT River: Reports
The boy was pulled from the river in Haddams and being treated at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, the reports said.

HADDAM, CT — A 5-year-old boy was in critical condition Saturday night after falling into the Connecticut River during a kayak accident, according to reports and first responders.
The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company was called to Landing Road in Higganum at 3:02 p.m. for a child in cardiac arrest after a drowning, the fire company said in a post on its Facebook page.
The child was flown to Middlesex Health for treatment, the fire company said.

The boy and a man went into the river when the kayak capsized, Fox 61 reported, quoting Connecticut State Police.
The boy was taken to Connecticut Children's Medical Center, WTNH News 8 reported, while the man with him refused medical attention.
