• Haddam Scouts Can and Bottle Collection January 10th (hk-now.com) — Haddam BSA Troops 44B and 44G are holding a returnable can and bottle drive at the Higganum Community Center on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funds will support local scout trips and campouts, and both boys’ and girls’ troops welcome new members from Haddam and nearby towns, meeting weekly at the Haddam campus of United Congregational Church.
