K-9 Nash Finds Missing Man In Woods In Haddam: State Police
The man needed immediate medical treatment and taken to the hospital, according to police.

HADDAM, CT — K-9 Nash led a successful track to find a missing man in the woods off Route 9 in Haddam on Friday morning, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said Troop F in Westbrook requested the assistance of the State Police K-9 Unit in a missing person investigation.
A vehicle believed to be last operated by the missing person was found abandoned on Route 9 North in Haddam, according to police.

“Previous efforts to locate him were unsuccessful,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Upon arrival, TFC Rutkowski and his partner, K9 Nash, conducted a track from the vehicle. The search led several hundred yards into the wooded shoulder of the highway, where the missing man was located in need of immediate medical treatment. TFC Fascendini, Trooper Nisbet, and TFC Rutkowski carried the man from the woods, where he was ultimately transported to an area hospital for further treatment.”
