Missing Haddam Man, 81, Found Deceased Within State Park: State PD

HADDAM, CT — Normand Manning, 81, who had been reported missing from Haddam was found dead Saturday afternoon within Cockaponset State Forest, state police said.

At 12:12 p.m. Manning, was found within the Cockaponset State Forest and pronounced deceased on scene, state police said. Manning's family has been notified.

"DEEP is conducting an investigation into the untimely death, and this investigation is active and ongoing at this time," state police said.

Manning had been missing since last Sunday, according to NBC CT.
