2. The Killingworth Library is happy to announce that the 15th John P. Hine, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament is back! Scheduled for August 15 at the Clinton Country Club, this fundraiser is one of many that the library relies on to help offset its operating expenses. 3. Margaret Streiker, CEO of Fortitude Capital LLC, the developer who had the high bid to buy the Deer Lake Boy Scout camp, is happy to be patient about the extended bid deadline to May 1. In fact, reportedly, she hopes a higher offer comes in. (Middletown Press)
4. The Connecticut Department of Agriculture Bureau of Regulatory Services is investigating Guida’s Dairy in New Britain regarding 1 percent low-fat half-pint milk cartons that could be a health hazard. Milk cartons from Guida's reportedly contained diluted sanitizer. (Daily Voice)
