• Mentors Wanted: HKMP Seeks Volunteers for 2026 (hk-now.com) — Residents of Haddam and Killingworth are being invited to support local students by thanking current mentors and considering becoming mentors themselves in the Haddam/Killingworth Mentoring Program. Adult volunteers are matched with Region 17 students for weekly in-school meetings, following training and a background check. Interested residents can contact the program coordinator for upcoming informational sessions this month.
