Plane Makes Forced Landing In Middlesex County

MIDDLESEX COUNTY — A plane made a forced landing Sunday in Middlesex County, according to authorities.

Engine issues forced the pilot to land the single-engine Mooney M20 around 11:30 a.m. on a road at Consumer Reports Auto Test Track, authorities said. Emergency personnel from Colchester and East Haddam responded.

Three people were on board, according to the Federal Aviation Administration, which will investigate the incident. No injuries were reported, the Colchester Fire Department said.
