  1. Project Graduation is looking to the generosity of the community as well as area small businesses to help offset the cost of its upcoming annual event for graduating seniors. This year, the graduating class is made up of 130 students. Project Graduation is asking for donations of gift certificates, swag items, gift baskets and college supplies that will be used for door prizes for students. In addition, Project Graduation is also looking for monetary donations for entertainment, games, food, etc. for the event. Can you help out? (HK Now)
  2. According to Will Healey, who is the spokesman for the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, a child died in a boating accident Friday evening and three others were hospitalized. Four individuals, including two juveniles, were on the vessel when it capsized. The DEEP EnCon Police are currently investigating the deadly boating accident that occurred on Wyassup Lake in North Stonington. (Patch)
