Reward Offered to Help Solve Haddam Bank Robbery Case
The Liberty Bank in Haddam was robbed on March 28 and police are seeking the suspect in the photograph.

The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of bank robbery suspect Joshua Giddings.
A bank robbery occurred on March 28, 2016 at the Liberty Bank, 116 Bridge St., Haddam, and is under investigation by state police detectives from Central District Major Crime.
On March 28, at approximately 3:30 p.m., troopers from Troop F-Westbrook responded to a bank robbery reported at the Liberty Bank. Upon arrival, police spoke with bank employees who stated a male suspect entered the bank and allegedly demanded money.
"After receiving an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled the bank on foot," according to police. "No weapons were displayed and no injuries were reported. The lone suspect was described as white male of average height and build, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with a white towel draped over his shoulder, a dark ski hat, and dark jeans."
State Police K9 teams responded to the scene and assisted troopers with a search of the area. State Police detectives from CDMC also responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
