- "Just swipe and delete," is the advice the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut is giving residents, due to an influx of scams using "friendly texts from unknown numbers". The BBB said these scammers potentially have the technology to steal phone contacts and continue to scam victims and their contacts also, so avoid even opening up the unknown text. (NBC Connecticut)
