A Bluey Buoy- sure to delight!
Calling all Kids-young or old! Bluey, one of our favorite dogs, is hoping you will participate and decorate a buoy for Buoys by the Bay in East Lyme. On Opening Night, be sure to search for this buoy about Bluey, which was painted by Alyssa McIntyre, of Bristol, CT., a big fan of this hit TV show enjoyed by grown-ups and kids alike.
Many of our faithful participants have expressed to us their stress at finding time to finish their buoy on time. We have heard their concerns and have extended the time to hand in a buoy. Whenever you finish, (try hard to make it as soon as possible), hand in your buoy where you purchased it. Although it may not get hung on a tree by Opening Night, we will do our best to hang it as soon as we can. Don’t let stress defeat you.

In addition, do you have a buoy from last year of which you are especially proud? If so, for a fee of $40, we will hang your buoy once again. Just bring it to one of the stores that is participating- pay your fee to support this fund raiser- and bring your relative and friends to Opening Night to find your entry. Buoys are available at Mermaid Liquors, Coastal Gifts on Main, and at the Niantic Farmers Market, $50 cash or check only.
