There's never been a better time to give blood in East Lyme. Today's blood drive was organized by the Town of East Lyme Health and Safety Committee to honor the memory of their late friend and coworker Mike Giannattasio. This event is to be held annually in August.  The American Red Cross is set up at the East Lyme Community Center, 39 Society Road, in Niantic today from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
