East Lyme Resident to Move to Bahrain, Serve US Embassy
It is the newest of many exciting and admirable travels that she will use her medical skills in.

EAST LYME, CT- Resident Kelly McNatt, 42, will travel to the Persian Gulf island nation of Bahrain on July 5 with her two sons to serve as a foreign service medical provider at the US Embassy there, The Day reported.
She will act as the primary care provider for approximately 88 federal government employees and their families, about 200 people in total, according to The Day. Though she will have a staff and nurses, she will also pretty much be on call 24/7.
An East Lyme High graduate, McNatt has spent much time volunteering and traveling the world with her medical skills, including Mozambique and Madagascar, according to The Day. She also worked with the World Health Organization on a Kenya clean water project among many other things.
