Lyme-Old Lyme High School Student Sues District Over False Arrest
A student has sued the district and officials. He says he was falsely accused of threatening gun violence, according to a report.
OLD LYME, CT — A Lyme-Old Lyme high school student who said he was falsely arrested for making threats regarding a school shooting has taken his case to court, according to The Day of New London.
In the original incident, the student was accused of threatening gun violence during a school safety drill and arrested for breach of peace. Prosecutors later dropped the charges.
