EAST LYME, CT — Police are investigating a serious assault after a 41-year-old man was thrown from a moving vehicle Sunday night, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14Qe85WRim2/?mibextid=wwXIfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">according to the</a> East Lyme Police Department. Officers were called to the area of 100 Hillcrest Road around 9:15 p.m. on November 23rd. Investigators said the man had been assaulted by two people before being pushed out of the vehicle. Police found plenty of evidence at the scene, including a blood trail leading from the victim's home to the spot where he was thrown from the vehicle.
