Man Thrown From Moving Vehicle During Violent Assault In East Lyme, Police Say

Police found a significant blood trail that helped map the path of the assault, officials said.

EAST LYME, CT — Police are investigating a serious assault after a 41-year-old man was thrown from a moving vehicle Sunday night, according to the East Lyme Police Department.

Officers were called to the area of 100 Hillcrest Road around 9:15 p.m. on November 23rd. Investigators said the man had been assaulted by two people before being pushed out of the vehicle.

Police found plenty of evidence at the scene, including a blood trail leading from the victim’s home to the spot where he was thrown from the vehicle.
