Police Blotter: Drug Bust In East Lyme, Woman Rearrested After Release From York Correctional

Robert P. Broga, 21, of 44 Cubles Drive, East Lyme, was charged with possession of narcotics kept in original container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (narcotics). The suspect was arrested after an anonymous caller reported possible drug activity involving a vehicle in a plaza at 170 Flanders Road. East Lyme Police responded with a drug-sniffing K-9 and discovered heroin, crack cocaine, oxybutynin pills, lorazepam pills in the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia.

Sarah Lilija Zech, 20, of 39 Seaview Avenue, Norwalk, was placed under arrest after being released from York Correctional Institute in Niantic on an active arrest warrant. She was charged with failure to respond to an infraction and released on a $100 bond.
