Police Recover 1,300 Xanax Tablets; Cash, Marijuana From Pawcatuck Apartment
A search and seizure operation was conducted by the local task force at the Homestead Apartments in Pawcatuck Monday, April 11, 2016.
Stonington detectives and the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force received information regarding alleged narcotics-related activity taking place at 375 Liberty St., Apt. 8, at the Homestead Apartments in Pawcatuck.
Following three weeks of surveillance, police executed a search and seizure warrant on Monday, April 11.
Subsequent to the search, police arrested Morgan L. Boss, 20, and Anthony F. Wu, 23, both of 375 Liberty St., Apt. 8.
Both were charged with the following:
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of marijuana with intent to sell
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of narcotics
- Possession of narcotics with intent to sell
During the search, detectives recovered more than 1,300 Xanax tablets, approximately 1.41 pounds of marijuana and more than $2,000 in cash.
Both Boss and Wu were held on a $50,000 cash bond.
