RHAPSODY IN BLUE BUOYS Shades of blue unite today's Buoys. First, we have a Menorah by Irina Shapiro of Niantic against a Cerulean Blue background. Next, Susan and Tom Turner of Niantic have produced Midnight Blue Star Fish against a silver background. The Heron, many of which can be seen in Niantic, stands out against a Blue-Violet background created by Susan Dahm of Oakdale. The Final Buoy, created by Lill Diachenko of the Black Point Yacht Club, has many decoupaged photos and banners against a Sky Blue background. Don't you be blue! Get your Buoy in for the deadline on Nov. 15 so that it can be hung on Opening Night on Nov. 20. This project is made possible by the East Lyme Public Trust Foundation and the Niantic Main Street Organization.
