Annual Blood Drive On Tap To Honor Fallen State Trooper From Troop C
The state police Troop C barracks and the American Red Cross are again teaming up for the annual blood drive in honor of Kevin Miller.

TOLLAND, CT — The state police Troop C barracks and the American Red Cross are again teaming up for the annual blood drive in honor of Trooper First Class Kevin Miller.
The vent is scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Tolland Recreation Center, 104 Old Post Road.
It was March 29, 2018 and Miller was on duty along a stretch of Interstate-84 in Tolland. Miller was popular and active in his hometown of Tolland and close to retirement. Suddenly, his state police cruiser came upon a slow-moving truck on a notorious hill on the eastbound side of the highway near Exit 68. It has been the site of numerous crashes over the years.

The vehicles collided and Miller died of injuries sustained in the crash.
