New Garage Planned For Crandall Park In Tolland
Town staffers will have an upgraded facility at Crandall Park.

TOLLAND, CT — Officials in Tolland are formulating plans plans to build a new municipal garage at the Crandall Park property.
That was the word from Tolland Town Manager Brian Foley in his latest report to the town council. It will serve both the Recreation Department and the Department of Public Works.
The new facility will have storage for seasonal equipment and will have an office space, a break room, a locker room and bathrooms with showers for staff members.

The project will be funded by town America Rescue Plan funds, Foley said.
In October, town officials met with contractor Gordian at the project location to obtain a cost proposal. Based on input received at this meeting, the site plan was modified. The town will meet with Gordian this month to discuss the budget and finalize the plans, Foley said.
