No Changes In Tolland Vote Totals After Tuesday Recount

TOLLAND, CT — And the votes stand in Tolland after a Tuesday recount for a pair of races in the 2025 municipal election.

Tolland's registrars of voters said there was no change in the votes received by Lori Ann Nelson and Renie Besaw in the Tolland Town Council race (a three-vote difference), and for Elaine Fish and Michael R. Bigda in the Tolland Board of Education race (a one-vote difference).

The registrars were quick to point out that the recanvass results are not official until they submitted to the Secretary of State.
