Tolland CT Lottery Player Claims Top Prize As Scratch Game Winds Down
A Tolland Lottery player scored a big win as a scratch game ended for good.

TOLLAND, CT — A Tolland CT Lottery player who bought a ticket locally claimed the top prize in a scratch game as the series ended.
On Wednesday, the unnamed winner from Tolland claimed the $100,000 jackpot on a Game of Thrones scratch ticket. The game expired the day before and, up to that point, not one of the three top payouts had been won, according to the CT Lottery.
The ticket was purchased at the Big Y World Class Market in Tolland.

The Game of Thrones scratch ticket series started on Dec. 9 with $10 tickets and a top price of $100,000.
A total of 1,570,400 tickets had been printed and the overall odds of winning some sort of prize was 1 in 3.08, according to game statistics.
