The Eagles played against E.O. Smith on Wednesday, winning the game, 5-2. Tolland's Alison Whitlock contributed three hits and 2 RBI's, with Ashley Clawson providing both the game-tying and game-winning RBI's. Jacqui Forman added two hits and a double for Tolland (8-4).
The Eagles play against Francis T. Maloney High School on Friday.

It was a battle of the Eagles with a 3-3 tie at halftime as East Catholic scored with one second remaining in the 2nd quarter. The Tolland defense then took control and denied any EC offense from quality shots on goal before Matt Susca discovered the hot stick in the fourth quarter and scored the game winning goal with 9:43 remaining and added an insurance goal later on. Cody Daigle sparked the offense in the 4th quarter setting up M. Susca both times and adding a goal of his own. Mike Criniti played solid defensively.
Tolland hosts cross-town rival Ellington Saturday at 2 p.m.
